  1. If you are using the Bulletproof Templates blank skeleton template, the file menu.css contains the styles you need for a drop down nested list. If you are not using this template, you need to amend your site CSS and add generic CSS style rules for achieving a drop down nested list.
  2. Once the CSS styles have been added, log into Joomla Admin and load the module used for displaying the menu that you wish to add suckerfish drop down menus to. By default Joomla! uses the Top Menu Module in the user3 module position (the same module position that Bulletproof Templates' blank Joomla! 1.5.x template uses to display the main horizontal menu)
  3. Next, you need to load this module by going to Extensions : Module Manager then select Top Menu from the listed modules. The Module: [Edit] screen will load: How to set dropdown menu for joomla
  4. In the Parameters section, to the right of the screen you must set the Menu Style to be List and select the Yes radio button for the setting Always show sub-menu Items

  5. NOTE: If using the blank template, there is no need to add either a Module Class Suffix or a Menu Class Suffix for the module (under Advanced Parameters) as the blank template simply adds suckerfish drop down CSS rules for any list item published in the user3 module position.
