Displaying multiple colors on the Modular watch face is easy. Press the digital crown until you return to the watch face and then force touch on the watch.

The watch face gets smaller with the name of the watch face displayed at the top of the screen and a “Customize” button at the bottom. Tap “Customize”.

The first screen allows you to change the color of the time and complications. Rotate the digital crown counter-clockwise until you reach the top of the list of colors, which is the “Multicolor” option.

If you swipe left to go to the complication selection screen, you can see the different colors assigned to the different complications in each spot on the watch face, including third party complications.
