In Asia, FCI is supposed to be the leading supply chain management. Wheat and Rice are the main products of this organization. It acquired around 15-20 percent of total wheat production of India every year and around 12-15 percent of total rice production of India every year. After acquiring the food grains, it makes available the food grains to the supply and collection storage areas of different states so that at a minimum price ration cardholders can purchase wheat and rice.
